Salt Lake City Jet Charter arranges private flights to and from Salt Lake City, including ski trips to Park City, Deer Valley and the resorts in the Cottonwood Canyons. Call an advisor at 1-888-987-5387, or send us your plans through the form below.
What to tell us
Let us know where you are flying from, your dates, the number of passengers, and the resort or address you are heading to. Skis, snowboards and boot bags take up a lot of room in the baggage hold, so tell us how many sets are coming. In summer, the same goes for golf clubs and mountain bikes. If this is your first time chartering, say so, and your advisor will explain how the quote and the booking work.
Which airport you will use
Salt Lake City International Airport (KSLC/SLC) is the main airport. Depending on where you are going, three others are worth a look: Heber Valley Airport (KHCR/HCR) in Heber City, Provo Airport (KPVU/PVU) at the south end of the Wasatch Front, and Ogden-Hinckley Airport (KOGD/OGD) to the north, for Snowbasin and Powder Mountain. All of them sit at high elevation, which affects how an aircraft performs, so your advisor confirms with the operator that the aircraft suits the airport and the conditions on your travel date. In winter, the Cottonwood Canyons roads can close for avalanche control, so allow extra time for the drive to the resorts.
What happens next
We come back with the aircraft that suit the airport and the season, and we name the certified operator for each one before you decide anything. Under DOT Part 295, when we book a flight as your agent rather than as the operator, we put it in writing. Your advisor then stays with the booking all the way to your landing. Ski season, from December through March, is when Salt Lake City books up, and the holidays go first, so call early if you are coming for the skiing.
